With the exception of the hat-trick seeking Kiama Bay, most of these are struggling for form at present. John Quinn's five-year-old won't mind the ground but hasn't raced since March and is now 6lb higher than when scoring at Catterick. Mark Johnston sets as a poser by saddling Mister Angry and Lovers Causeway with the former preferred as he's well treated on last year's form whereas the latter has gone off the boil since winning at the big May meeting here. It's possible French import High Figurine could improve for her fifth at Doncaster and Praxiteles won over hurdles last month but the vote goes to THIN RED LINE, who is thrown in here on his best form on an easy surface and will probably never get a better chance to end his barren spell.
