Dr Red Eye completed a double in a Class 4 handicap here a couple of weeks ago but will find this better event tougher with a 5lb rise though Billy Cray's claim will be a help. Klynch has been a wonderful servant to Ruth Carr and has already won twice this month over 6f. He'd prefer some give so if more rain arrives he'll take some beating. NORSE BLUES generally races over further and scored over a mile at Thirsk last time but he often makes all the running and can do so again over this shorter trip. Clockmaker beat Dr Red Eye over the course and distance in September but has the worst of the draw here.
