Melody Of Life finished in front of Ffion when third at Newcastle while Poet's Magic won here in June and has placed subsequently. Thirsk winner Cliffcake could only manage fourth off today’s mark last time while Yanifer failed to land a hat-trick when behind third-placed PAWS FOR THOUGHT here in July. The latter has since been beaten in a tougher race back at this venue but gets another chance in this.
