In depth

Verdict

The draw is sure to play a part in this big-field finale and Lindoro, arguably the pick on form on his second to Pelmanism at Thirsk, will do well to get anywhere near the rails from stall 11. North Central has fared better and would have claims if bouncing back from a modest effort at Hamilton, though neither going nor trip look ideal here and there are similar reservations about penalised Thirsk winner Viking Warrior. MANY WELCOMES goes well here, however, and is on a decent mark now. She stayed on nicely from an impossible position at Beverley earlier this month and could recapture the winning thread if getting away on terms today. Cyflymder, another well treated on his best form, showed a bit more at Warwick eight days ago and may be best of the rest.
