One Putra gets the nod over Cupid's Glory, with Obe Gold and Dahteer the others to note. One Putra is very highly thought of by connections, as entries in the Mill Reef, Middle Park and Dewhurst reveal, and he did nothing to dispel that confidence when making all on his second career outing at Windsor last week. The colt showed that he can handle give in the ground, and if he cracks out in the lead here, will be hard to pass. He is the one to beat, with Cupid's Glory having more to do than when opening his account at Lingfield. Obe Gold has a lot more experience but not as much scope, and the stable is not in the best of form at present. His stablemate Dahteer was outclassed behind the 2,000 Guineas favourite Shamardal in the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood, and connections of Mark Johnston's star will be hoping that the form is boosted, but however well Dahteer performs, it is hard to see him getting the better of One Putra who should take this en-route to better things.
