      Verdict

      DURETTO looks to have leading claims both at the weights and on form. Beaten less than a length in the Ormonde Stakes here in May, he’s preferred to last year’s Group 2 winner Across The Stars, who has run below par in three outings so far this season. Goodwood winner Soldier In Action would have a shout if taking part but was due to run at Salisbury yesterday while though My Reward won a Listed race here earlier this month this looks tougher. Rich Legacy also has a bit to find on these terms and ran poorly on soft ground last time.
