The veteran CONFESSIONAL won here in July and was runner-up on soft going at Haydock last time. He needs to reverse earlier running with stablemate and course and distance winner Bossipop but may well do so on today’s ground. The progressive Guardia Svizzera has been raised 10lb after completing a hat-trick with last month’s success at Hamilton while Rene Mathis won over a longer trip here in June and picked-up a claimer over 7f at Wolverhampton last week. David Barron’s duo, Venturous and Handsome Dude, are both drawn high along with Highland Acclaim but Ginbar could go well.
