Verdict

This looks difficult as much depends on obtaining a good track position from the gate. BIT OF A QUIRKE has landed the inside berth which will prove beneficial if producing a decent stalls exit, in which case it would not surprise to see last year's winner complete the double despite a 4lb higher mark. Miss Sheridan scored around a different style of track last time at Pontefract but has a victory in the book here and is expected to go well. Dark Devil makes appeal as he came up against a potential improver last time and is now down to an interesting mark. Garden Oasis and Swift Emperor are live players if delivering their best, with the latter nicely drawn in stall two.
