In depth

Verdict

Hillbilly Boy, Party Royal and Pearl Noir were all well beaten in different races at Royal Ascot last time and Bill Turner's colt, a winner at Ripon earlier, makes most appeal of that trio. Bairam has not shown much improvement since his debut though his latest third at Salisbury is stronger form than both the second Must Be Me recorded at Brighton recently and Sylvia Pankhurst's maiden win at Wolverhampton. SLIPSTREAM ANGEL made a winning start in heavy ground at Newcastle and, given she won't mind any further rain, Richard Fahey's filly can land this with normal progress.
