Verdict

This looks tricky as it was soft ground when Roudee ran out an easy winner over track and trip last month with Anonymous John well beaten. Snow Cloud won at Redcar last month but Olivia Fallow was in close attendance and that pair are hard to separate while Bowson Fred has gone close the last twice but finished practically upsides with BEAU EILE at York on his penultimate start. The latter is now partnered by Franny Norton, who rides this track as well as anyone, and David Barron's filly gets a tentative vote to come out best on this occasion.
