Marcret won last year's renewal off a similar mark when trained by Ruth Carr and should be thereabouts once again. The latter runs veteran Dubai Dynamo today but he may find a rise in the weights beyond him after winning at Ripon while Clockmaker was well beaten in this last year. Gabrial's Kaka has slipped down the weights without yet showing any benefit but DREAM WALKER has returned to a winning mark and finished closer at Carlisle last time. It could be his turn again today and he is preferred to Spiriting, who sports first-time blinkers after disappointing at Newmarket.
