Ruth Carr runs last Saturday's Thirsk winner Orpsie Boy and Monday's Beverley scorer Al Muheer under a penalty as well as No Hubris. The former appears best drawn of the trio. Glenridding and Barons Spy are both weighted to go close but drawn towards the outside but Folkestone winner Kingswinford can have no excuses from stall four and the Richard Fahey pair, Viva Ronaldo and Tamareen, should have every chance from a single-figure draw if handling the ground. CORPORAL MADDOX hasn't won since the autumn of 2009 but was second over 6f off this mark in September last year. He ran a nice race on his reappearance over this trip on the Polytrack and could be poised to get back to winning ways today with Southwell second Mappin Time possibly the pick of the remainder back on turf.
