In depth

Verdict

Jer Batt won nicely at Musselburgh recently but is drawn on the outside while Democracy Dilemma could also have had more luck with the draw having finished ahead of Seantrabh when scoring at Thirsk last month. Michaela's Boy completed a double on the all-weather at the end of last year and finished in front of Danger Alert at Newcastle last time but a chance is taken on the returning SQUEALER. A dual novice winner last season, a bold bid is expected from his inside berth now handicapping for the first time.
