FLAG OFFICER, a dual Polytrack winner in 2010, ran only twice last season with his second to Sea Moon at York in June an outstanding effort as the winner won a Group 2 and was placed twice at Group 1 level subsequently. The Godolphin colt is thrown in here despite a 9lb rise and if fit after a long break should take this. The consistent Absinthe has been in fine form over hurdles and has improved since missing the break and finishing well beaten in this a year ago. King's Warrior, a winner on soft ground in France, made a bright start for Peter Chapple-Hyam at Doncaster and it will be a surprise if he's not in the shake-up and though Robemaker was a little disappointing at Nottingham he didn't get the clearest of runs and today's longer trip will suit. Area Fifty One was in very good form throughout the last campaign, though at a lower level, and Cry Fury also warrants a second look.
