Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won the last five and eight of the last eleven. The 420,000gns Galileo colt Family Tree looked one to follow this season when landing a heavy-ground Gowran maiden with plenty on hand. Flag Of Honour landed a Group 3 at Leopardstown in October and was sent to contest a similar event on his reappearance at Longchamp where he just lost out in a driving finish. Ryan Moore has chosen HUNTING HORN, a Naas maiden winner before a fair run in the Classic Trial at Sandown where he looked certain to be suited by this longer trip. He gets the nod though Ispolini, who finished runner-up in that latter event when caught on the line, should also be suited by the extra and Young Rascal has to be considered after easily beating a huge field of maidens at Newbury.
