Greeleys Love, the only three-year-old in this, appeared to have every chance at Epsom last week but again hung fire under pressure, despite wearing a visor. He may be one to be wary of though Joe Fanning still prefers him to Fennell Bay even though the latter should be suited by this sharp track and is better drawn. Spifer went close again at Kempton last month but has a bit to find with Area Fifty One on earlier running at Epsom. The latter runs in the colours of Dr Marwan Koukash, the leading owner here, but he also has HAYLAMAN in the line-up and it's the David Simcock-trained five-year-old that gets the nod. The gelding hasn't won for almost two years but is usually thereabouts at this level and deserves a change of luck. Simcock also runs the returning Balducci while Forgotten Hero looks likely to be suited by the step up in trip and makes more appeal than Toto Skyllachy and Calaf at the weights.
