Black Monk will need to make his usual fast start to grab the lead from a wide draw. He'll take some pegging back if doing so after his recent second at Epsom but ARLECCHINO is preferred. The latter finished a creditable third over today's trip at Haydock on his debut and normal progress should see him bang there at the finish. Zain Spirit's improved effort came on the Fibresand at Southwell and it remains to be seen if he can reproduce that here while Ouzinkie could prove best of the rest.
