SOUL arrived from Australia with a big reputation and though he's no Group 1 sprinter he's done well enough to suggest this should be well within his compass. A Group 3 winner on heavy ground at Newbury a year ago, he'll be better for a recent run and though having the worst of the draw Kieren Fallon, a rare booking for Godolphin, will be keen to get him home. Excelette has been going well in this sort of grade but hasn't won as often as she should have but the veteran Hitchens can never be discounted and gained the 10th victory of his career at the Curragh in May. Ballista loves this track and with a low draw could provide the main threat.
