      Verdict

      Mabadi is our confident choice to land this maiden with Macho Dancer and Avelian the pair taken to chase her home. The selection ran well on her seasonal reappearance at Newbury when she showed plenty of ability to finish third behind Kaylianni. She is sure to come on for the run and this progressive filly should have too much for her rivals on this occasion. Macho Dancer was slightly disappointing last time at Warwick when fifth behind Green Room but she should benefit from this drop in trip and her overall form suggests she is good enough to get competitive in this company. Avelian drifted in the market before finishing third behind Northern Boy over 1m last time. He gave the impression that day that he needed a step-up in trip and as he is tried over a longer trip today he may fare better. Skit was very disappointing last time and is readily opposed, and for the winner we are happy to return to Mabadi.
