This course appears to draw the best out of Ninah and, with a good draw to boot, she may be worth chancing against the likes of Beejay, Melaina and Jinksonthehouse, who should all be capable of figuring strongly if they run up to form. So too should Verkhotina, who is surely better than she has shown so far and it will be dangerous to rule her out completely. The same comments apply to Under My Spell as she ran a blinder at Nottingham earlier in the month and will be very hard to get past if she repeats the effort. That said, like a few of the rest, she has never been the most consistent of performers and her tendency to find a few too good has been an expensive mistake to make when giving her the benefit of the doubt. However, Milton Bradley has his string in very good order at present and has already sprung a few surprises with well-handicapped horses this season. Ninah fits this profile and, considering that she is 2lb lower than she was when finishing second here at the end of last season, she makes plenty of appeal at the likely prices. The daughter of First Trump is yet to finish out of the frame from four previous visits to Chepstow and she could be cracking each-way value in a very tricky handicap that rounds off the card. Under My Spell will be dangerous if she hits the gates running and is worth a saver for those willing to cover a few more corners with their selections.
