Verdict

Surprisingly beaten when odds-on for a maiden at Huntingdon earlier this month, dual bumper winner BEFORE MIDNIGHT (NAP) gets another chance on this more galloping track. Mr Macho was staying on behind a hot favourite at Southwell in May with a subsequent winner back in third and he’ll be poised to pounce if Nicky Henderson’s charge comes up short again. Senior Citizen has been placed in a point and two bumpers so the switch to hurdles is likely to suit and Getaway Trump has won between the flags. Copper Coin and Enrichissant may be the pick of the remainder.
