slowly into stride and went left start, never closer than mid-division
quickly away, led early, chased winner until over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
soon led, clear when hung badly left to far rail over 1f out, just lasted
outpaced in rear, some late minor headway, never on terms
raced keenly chasing leaders, went 2nd over 2f out, edged left towards far side inside final furlong, stayed on, not reach winner

gave trouble loading, chased leaders over 4f
None of those with experience have looked anything like winning so far and Weymouth Bay was still well beaten when third over 6f here a week ago. Cider Apple, Henrik and Woodview may well improve but this won’t take much winning and any strong support for Clive Cox’ newcomer SKY BLUE THINKING, a half-sister to five winners, could prove significant. Astapor is a full-brother to a winner and is another to consider.
