Verdict

WYCK HILL is a 140-plus rated chaser who is being aimed at this year's Grand National. He hasn't raced since finishing sixth in the Midlands National at Uttoxeter last March but McCoy rides and he's gone well fresh in the past so is possibly the one to beat. Mackerye End's second to The Tourard Man at Southwell is decent form as the winner landed a handicap at Warwick last week off a mark of 123. He rates more of a danger than the penalised Delgany Demon and stablemate Adam Du Breteau, though the latter should enjoy the step up in distance. Billy Congo and Master Hooper both have winning form in point-to-points and Chantara Rose, who has decent form in bumpers, adds to the interest.
