Verdict

OUTLAND operates on all ground but both wins have come with cut. He confirmed preference for softened conditions at Newmarket last time, is effective over a variety of trips and is just preferred to Wrecking Crew. The latter, in good heart on artificial surfaces, has transferred that consistent all-weather form to turf in recent weeks, although he does remain unproven on soft ground. Turjuman is closely handicapped with the selection on latest Newmarket running and could reverse placings on a going day. However, such occasions are tough to predict which reduces confidence in his ability to get the job done. Madame Boot has some useful form but this represents a marked step up in distance. She's a danger if handling a trip into the unknown.
