Moorlands Mist galloped on strongly to beat Brackloon High by nine lengths over course and distance three weeks ago with Lookout Mountain fourth and UGLY BUG sixth. But the latter was making his seasonal reappearance that day and ran very well until lack of condition told up the home straight. Twice a winner on heavy going, he was trying to give Seventh Sign 12lb when beaten by Alan King's charge over a shorter trip here in the spring and can also turn that form around today. Awaywiththegreys has looked to be in the handicapper's grip for a while and the ground may be too heavy for Makethe Mostofnow. Pure Science will need to improve his jumping if he's going to make a hurdler.
