No three-year-old has ever won this and only a couple take part this time. Don't Blame Me has been running well in Polytrack maidens but this is much tougher on his handicap debut. Consistant was well beaten in the race a year ago but has won twice subsequently including at Pontefract earlier this month for which a 4lb rise looks fair. Dunnscotia finished runner-up four times last summer and is much better than he showed at Goodwood last time while Mrs Warren, who hasn't won since 2014, hasn't been beaten far off this mark in recent weeks. WAHAAB hasn't scored since his debut in 2014 but he's been running well and was unlucky when well supported at Brighton last week so it's time he won again.
