In depth

Verdict

BONJOUR STEVE is the obvious choice as it was soft ground when he missed out by only a head over track and trip a fortnight ago. But he rates only a tentative selection as Zafraaj wasn't beaten far in third and looks likely to make another bold bid from the front on slightly better terms. Lady Ranger makes the trip over from Ireland after finishing closer on her latest start at Cork while Clear Focus may prove best of the rest on her earlier placed effort at Wolverhampton.
