Meister Eckhart's absence may have left the way open for AMBION WOOD to break his duck. He was 12 lengths ahead of subsequent Towcester scorer Close House when second at Exeter last time and the return to a longer trip is probably in his favour. Finnegan Paddy has already won a point-to-point and looked as though his turn wasn't far away over hurdles when third over C&D earlier this month, though has a little to find with second Rojo Vivo on that run. A market move for dual bumper winner The Tracey Shuffle would have to be taken seriously and Nutin Fancy has every chance on the form book and will strip fitter for last month's reappearance here. Richmond was third a handicap at Newbury last time but is a bit more exposed than some.
