Loom and Silver Sister are weighted to maintain their recent placings with each other and while both should go well it might be worth chancing the unexposed MINELLA FOR FOOD. Evan Williams has his string in decent form and he has taken the reins of the selection since Trevor Horgan had him in Ireland before a setback forced him off the track for 22 months. His last piece of form when a runner-up, admittedly 22 lengths adrift, of Cooldine, looks very good in the context of this modest race and he is sure to have been well schooled. It is unlikely that Williams will have taken any chances on his fitness and we will give him the tentative nod. Loom is likely to be a warm order after giving 10lbs and an eight length beating to Silver Sister at Uttoxeter earlier in the month. David Pipe's charge is now 3lbs better off and should therefore at the very least be able to confirm that superiority with that opponent, but excepting that he is still likely to be a leading player despite the concession of weight all around. Raider Of The East has his third start for Tim Vaughan, and he has shown some improvement so far, so he cannot be ruled out of finding more. Champagne Dancer looks best of the rest, but preference is for Minella For Food.
