      Verdict

      Lady Charisma overcame a bad last-flight error to score at Towcester in November then fell at Wincanton in January so she'll need to brush up her jumping. Madame De Guise made a reasonable start at Stratford in October after arriving from France and was tackling a longer trip at Warwick the following month. She's likely to be capable of much better but the vote goes to OUR PHYLLI VERA. She didn't enjoy the testing conditions at Plumpton last time so wouldn't want any more rain but she defied a 13lb rise for her earlier victory and is only 4lb higher here. Lindsay's Dream was over eight lengths behind in that latter event and appears unlikely to reverse the form.
