Paul Nicholls has a 40% strike-rate with his bumper horses at the track so Ramses De Marcigny is considered despite his penalty, however KIND OF EASY looks an interesting rival and he is put forward ahead of Lundy Sky and Magical Treasure. The selection made his debut in a Grade Two race at Newbury, and although he never threatened to win he ran a good race in ninth behind Al Ferof. He has since franked the form and with Aidan Coleman booked for the ride he should run well. The majority of the newcomers are bred to come into their own over longer trips in time but with the ground on the testing side they could show up better than normal, however a bigger threat looks to be Lundy Sky. He has shaped with plenty of promise on his last two starts and this testing track should suit, whilst Magical Treasure finished one place ahead of him last time out at Plumpton and he looks a very stout stayer already. Ramses De Marcigny finished ahead of the selection last time and testing ground should suit, however it is hard for horses to carry penalties to victory in bumpers and it may not be long before we see him over hurdles. Grey Wulff looks very much the stable second string on jockey bookings, and so it is his stablemate Kind Of Easy who is given the nod.
