MINSGILL MANS had to settle for second place in this race last year and is taken to go one better in what arguably looks like a poorer contest at the expense of Bob Bites Back and Kisha King. The selection is one of an only few that have form under national hunt rules. He was second to Lady Myfanwy in this race last year and he has since scored between the flags this season. He is ridden by top amateur James Tudor and if he can recapture last years form he will be difficult to oppose. Bob Bites Back was fifth in this race last year but he has been making hay while the sun has been shining this season. He has won four times in point to points so comes into the race in fine fettle so he worth noting in the market. The same can be said about Kisha King who has won five times between the flags this season and is certainly recommended for the short list. However for the winner we return to Minsgill Mans.
