In depth

Verdict

Zanzibar Boy gets the vote in the finale with Wee Anthony and Great Memories rated as the main dangers. The selection ran well enough when finishing second behind Post It at Hereford last time. He did not get a clear run that day and with this step-up in trip in his favour he is taken to get his head in front. Wee Anthony rates the main danger as this well-bred newcomer is related to a dual bumper winner and if the market speaks in his favour then he would have to be of interest. Great Memories is another that catches the eye on breeding although his dam was well beaten in a bumper. Earth Moving and Dopey Bob are from top yards and are others to note in the market, but for the winner we will stick with Zanzibar Boy.
