Chef Des Obeaux was never travelling with any fluency when a beaten favourite on his chasing bow at Uttoxeter and looked to be in trouble when unseating his rider here next time. He’s now tried in cheekpieces but JAMMIN MASTERS makes more appeal, despite finding one too good in all three of his chase starts to date – he’s been coming up against decent opposition. St Erney and Noruki will need the other two to hit the buffers to get involved.
Chef Des Obeaux (FR) 5-2jfav (10-12) Tracked leaders, went 2nd 6th until 5 out, 4th when blundered and unseated rider next, at Chepstow 3m (3) gs in Jan.
