Verdict
Blistering Dancer was allowed to start at generous odds when successful at Thirsk considering he'd been running well on the all-weather - he's only 4lb higher here so is an obvious contender. Arizona Snow seems to run his best races over an extra furlong at Southwell, however, while softer ground might have suited Bath second Blackdown Warrior, though he's only had five runs. Presto Boy remains winless after 20 attempts while course and distance winners Steel Rain and Two Turtle Doves are still out of form. But Louis Vee is better than recent form figures suggest, though SPIRIT OF ROSANNA makes more appeal. Steph Hollinshead's grey was third in a better race than this at Doncaster last time and beat Arizona Snow and Zebs Lad at Brighton in October on worse terms.
