In depth
Verdict
A couple of these made winning debuts for powerful yards. Firestep scored at Southwell despite showing signs of inexperience and can go close again but GOLD BULLION beat a subsequent winner when successful at Warwick and Paul Nicholls’ charge gets the nod on that form. Marty Time is a likely improver with a tongue-tie applied for this while Buck's Boggle is preferred to Pilgrims King of the newcomers. Kilbeg King and Landen Calling were both due to run in the same race at Uttoxeter yesterday.
