Iron Horse ran well on his reappearance over hurdles but hasn’t shown much in three previous runs over fences and time is not on his side. Discko Des Plages has fallen the last twice at Uttoxeter but was still travelling well on both occasions so would be a danger with a clear round but blinkers would need to transform Shutthegate. After The Fox won over hurdles here last year and Kingcormac won at Hereford before pulling up at Ffos Las. Conditions are a bit of an unknown for Faitque De L'isle and BELLS OF STAMFORD but the latter has to be given a chance to build on his runaway success at Warwick.
