Holdenhurst bids to repeat last year’s victory in this but has run poorly in both previous starts in blinkers. A couple of these won here last time with Connie's Rose scoring over 6f and Iconic Knight successful over the trip. But the latter was earlier beaten by REDREDROBIN at the track and Malcolm Saunder’s mare gets another chance after placing at Brighton last time despite losing a shoe. Otago won at Brighton when last seen at this level and may prove best of the rest.
