Wahaab bids to follow up last week’s win here over 7f under a penalty but he’s been found wanting when tried over this longer trip in the past. Alemaratalyoum may also be better over shorter but Spirit Of Belle has to go on the short-list as he can race off the same mark as when only beaten half-a-length at Ffos Las last month and he’s twice finished second under Katherine Glenister. But, back over a mile, Newbury scorer NATIVE SOLDIER gets the nod with Mitch Godwin taking off a handy 5lb, though a case could also be made for House Of Commons. Medicean Ballet is lightly raced but may need to drop a few more pounds before hitting the winning trail again.
