In depth

Verdict

Presto Volante was withdrawn from a race at Bath earlier this week on account of the fast ground and the lightly-raced Windsor third has a chance here. Before Bruce is a C&D winner and was fourth in an amateurs' race at Goodwood nine days ago while English Summer is very well treated on his best form, though has rather lost the plot lately. Seamus Durack runs both Wolverhampton second Lakota Ghost and the three-year-old EIGHTFOLD and it's the latter who looks the one to beat after his staying-on third over C&D last week when he didn't enjoy the clearest of passages. Ironically was disappointing when only fifth at Wolverhampton last time but may still prove the pick of the remainder ahead of Irish raider Passion Planet.
