HAROUET is put forwards ahead of Forty Five and Yetholm in a decent little heat. The selection has just two runs over hurdles at Cagnes-sur-Mer to his name and the form is difficult to assess but the yard have done well with their acquisitions from across the Channel. He had the option of taking in a juvenile hurdle later in the week so connections presumably believe that he's been allotted a handicap mark that's workable and their runners here are always feared. Forty Five has won his last three starts with ridiculous ease but he's been handed an 18lb rise in the weights as a result; his improving conditional takes care of five of those and the pair must be respected. Kingscape didn't look in love with the game at Stratford and is readily passed over as is Stoop To Conquer who shaped as though he could be winning soon but he's difficult to catch right. Yetholm left his previous efforts behind to score at Taunton and has to be feared as the handicapper was unable to get carried away with that success and there could be plenty more to come. Picot De Say and Mango Catcher are likeable but vulnerable to the unexposed horses in this race; of whom, we'll take a chance with Harouet.
