This is probably one of the most competitive handicap chases of the season so far with the weights headed by Join Together, who was last seen in the Grand National at Aintree, and Well Refreshed. Gary Moore's charge won a Grade 3 at Haydock in February while Theatrical Star got back on track with victories at Exeter and Fontwell. Pete The Feat won five times between October and December last year and Storm Survivor is a dour stayer and won the Listed Summer Cup at Uttoxeter in June. Alfie Spinner likes it here and has fallen to an attractive mark and Emma Lavelle's yard is in great form so Court By Surprise must be worth a second look near the foot of the weights. But WHAT A WARRIOR may be capable of better this season and goes well fresh. He's still only a six-year-old and should stay further nowadays.
