Verdict

BUG BOY (NAP) showed further progress on his latest start when winning an apprentices’ handicap by nearly four lengths over course and distance. He escapes a penalty for that success and has obvious claims of going in again in this company. Chinese Alphabet finished a distant second when returning to today’s trip at Ffos Las and Essenaitch is another with something to prove having done all his winning so far over shorter distances. Neff has also yet to prove he stays this far but Helian is less exposed than most with a pedigree that suggests he’ll appreciate this extra test of stamina.
