BENBANE HEAD is well regarded by his yard and may be able to keep their Cheltenham dream alive by defying a penalty. That's never easy however and the dangers include Polly Potter and Secret Stash. Polly Potter is from a good family and made a pleasing start to her career in a reasonably well contested mares' race at Cheltenham; there should be more to come from her. Secret Stash also made a satisfactory debut in a junior bumper at Newbury that has thrown up some smart horses in the past. The longer trip seems sure to suit but the yard hasn't saddled a single winner in this sphere in the past five seasons. Double Dash, Lady Wyndham and Minnie Hill are others worthy of attention but it's the Uttoxeter winner that is selected. Martin Keighley's charge ran out an impressive winner of his sole start between the flags and scored with similar ease on his Rules debut. The first three pulled a long way clear of the remainder to give some substance to connections' high hopes and we expect Benbane Head to justify them here.
