Verdict

Fitness could be an issue with a few of these but Henryville has been in action over the summer, winning at Newton Abbot in July and finishing second at Cartmel in August. Dell' Arca fell in last month’s Kerry National but David Pipe also runs VIEUX LION ROUGE, who was second in the Becher Chase on his belated reappearance last year. He’s likely to be ready for this despite having his first run since April’s Grand National. The Young Master had a pipe-opener on the all-weather nine days ago but Theatre Guide finished tailed off in this last year and is having a first run since March. On Tour was also unplaced 12 months ago while Joe Farrell would probably have preferred better ground. Regal Encore and Perfect Candidate are capable but hard to catch right nowadays.
