Verdict

EMERGING TALENT is held in high regard at Ditcheat and can make an immediate impact over hurdles. He'll make a decent chaser in the future but isn't short of pace, as he showed when galloping all the way to the line to land a competitive Naas bumper in March. Shelford sets a decent standard on his close-up second to Simply A Legend at Ascot in March and will be winning soon but Sivron is likely to do better with this run under his belt. It's likely that either Uttoxeter third Arty Campbell or Flying Bandit will be good enough.
