Verdict

It's been a quiet campaign for Marcus Tregoning so far but his string have endured a couple of near misses of late. SERENA GRAE showed well for a long way when third over C&D are we are confident that she is capable of building upon that performance. All eyes will somewhat predictably be watching the market in relation to Real Jazz. Sir Mark Prescott's inmate has been fitted with blinkers on her first foray into handicaps and the assessor sets her a task of winning tonight's contest off a mark of 60. Unplaced in three runs in maiden company at Wolverhampton and Southwell, the betting should give us a fair idea as to what to anticipate. Aristocratic Duty appeared an unlucky loser at Brighton earlier in the week and her turn can't be far away. Sweet Alibi didn't quicken as anticipated at Windsor though Stan Moore's filly won with a degree of authority at Bath on her previous start and the useful Philip Prince is back aboard tonight.
