In depth

Verdict

Another wide open contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be General Feeling, Kensington, My Girl Pearl and The Butterfly Boy and the tentative vote goes to General Feeling. The selection was a fair third in a better race last out and off this mark and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Kensington rates the main danger he was a good second behind Neon Blue last time out and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close, but he will do well to win from this draw. My Girl Pearl is another worthy of respect she has been in good form without winning of late but she has had plenty of chances and again she may find one or two to good. The Butterfly Boy is another that could go well, he is from a shrewd yard and looks to be on a handy mark so is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Travellers Joy has dropped to a handy mark and he is another to note but for the winner we return to General Feeling.
