Verdict

Macs Dilemma shrugged off a hike in the weights to land a hat-trick with last month’s victory over 6f here. An apprentice’s allowance negates a further 4lb rise while Sir Plato is penalised for last week’s course and distance success, his fifth win at this venue. Helm Rock landed a double at Carlisle last year and has slipped back down the handicap but a chance is taken on BHUBEZI. The latter will be sharper for a recent reappearance and debut run for Patrick Chamings and won off today’s mark at Newbury last summer.
