    Verdict

    MR EXCELLENCY (NAP) is now adopting different tactics to those which saw him land his first two starts when held up. He's since raced prominently but that strategy delivered a competitive Newmarket handicap last time - the best form on offer. He gives plenty of weight away but has every chance if maintaining his progression. Ex-French Aggagio didn't shape too badly on debut for Sophie Leech but is probably best watched and Maxine was hit with a huge 20lb rise for two runaway successes in ordinary handicaps and was engaged in the 5.25 at Epsom yesterday. Bashful needs to improve but is running well enough and receives weight all round.
